This is one of the biggest dining disappointments since I moved to the US. If this restaurant were in Hong Kong or any other major city with a significant ethnic Chinese population, it would either be (a) in a really bad location with really low prices; or (b) out of business. Dim sum, almost by definition, is meant to be fine and dainty morsels of delight. Here, it is totally unrefined in taste and presentation, more akin to cafeteria food served out of buckets. The feeling is of haphazard and half-hearted preparation by an unhappy and uninspired chef. Throw in cheesy ambience and a dank atmosphere, and you can be sure that I would rather have a McDonalds burger (which I consider eat-or-starve-to-death food) than eat here again.
